A live CC surface that fires to all your MIDI gear at once — real-time sliders, learn mode, A/B snapshot compare, and two-way hardware sync. Hardware-agnostic; works with any MIDI device on any channel simultaneously.
The Tweak tab gives you a live mixing-desk view of every MIDI CC parameter across your whole rig. Every slider fires the CC to hardware the moment you move it — no submit button, no "send" step. It's the fastest way to dial in sounds during soundcheck or tweak wet/dry on the fly mid-rehearsal.
Unlike dedicated hardware CC editors (which are locked to one manufacturer's ecosystem), Tweak works with every device in your rig simultaneously, regardless of brand or MIDI interface — just browsers and a USB cable.
Each MIDI-capable device in your rig gets a card. Each CC parameter in that device's template (or custom params) gets a labeled slider:
The slider grid shows all your MIDI devices at once, sorted in the same order as your Gear roster.
When you move a knob or slider on the actual hardware, RigWork receives the CC via MIDI IN and updates the matching Tweak slider automatically. The slider briefly flashes white to confirm receipt. This means:
Not sure which CC# controls a knob on your hardware? Hit ◉ Learn — a banner appears confirming the mode is active. Now wiggle any physical knob or slider on any connected device:
Click ◉ Learn again to exit. After finding a CC#, go to Gear → Edit → + Add control to save it as a named param so it shows up as a slider permanently.
Store two complete rig states (all CC values across all devices) and toggle between them instantly:
Long-press ⬟ A or ⬟ B (hold for ~0.6 seconds) to capture the current state into that slot. The button lights up to confirm it's saved. The snapshot stores every slider position across every device at that moment.
Short-press ⬟ A or ⬟ B to recall that slot — fires all CCs from that snapshot to hardware, and all sliders update to match. Or use the ⇄ A/B button to toggle between whichever slot is active and the other.
The Load preset… dropdown in the Tweak header lets you pull any saved preset's CC values into the sliders and fire them live — without "applying" the preset formally (no PC messages, no changing the show state). This is useful for:
Only presets that have CC values saved appear in the list.
Click the Panel button at the top of the Tweak tab to switch to panel view. Instead of horizontal sliders in cards, your rig becomes a column-per-device mixing board with tall vertical faders:
Panel mode is designed for live use: the tall faders give you a bigger touch target on a tablet, and the column layout mirrors a hardware mixing console. Toggle back to list mode with the same button — the button lights when panel is active.
When you've landed on a sound you want to keep, click ⬡ Capture → Preset. RigWork prompts for a name and creates a new preset with the current slider values as its CC state. From that point it works like any other preset — you can assign it to a setlist section, give it a PC number, fire it from Show Mode.
Re-sends every slider's current value to every device at once. Use this after reconnecting your MIDI interface mid-session, or after swapping a cable, to bring the hardware back in sync with what the sliders show.
Resets every CC param on every device to its default value, fires all of them to hardware, and resets all sliders. This is the "clean slate" button — handy at the start of a session or when you want to hear the rig's neutral state.
Don't need the full Tweak tab? Each gear card in the Gear tab now has a Quick button for devices with CC params. Click it to expand an inline mini-panel with the top three CC params for that device:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Panel | Toggle vertical fader (panel) view vs. list view |
| ◉ Learn | Learn mode — wiggle hardware to identify CC#s |
| ⬟ A / ⬟ B | Long-press = capture; short-press = recall |
| ⇄ A/B | Toggle between saved A and B states |
